First Valentine's Day!

If Lexi had slowed down for one second today, I'm sure she would have wished everyone a happy Valentine's Day!

She is one busy girl, constantly on the move. I'm finding it hard to photograph such a moving target. She is curious about how everything works. She loves, loves, LOVES being outside and is going to be very unhappy about the cold weather that is supposed to be returning to TN.

She also adores our cats and has learned to pet them very gently.

This next series of photos are of Lexi trying to figure out the pet door. She would not give it up (or bother to look at the camera) until the cat came back out to play with her.

Meanwhile, her brothers are sporting pink hats and mowing the grass.

Tonight we all went to church for a Valentine's Day Dance to support our Youth Ministry raising money for camp. Lexi really enjoyed the music and dancing around in circles trying to step on the lights from the Disco Ball. Overall, I think she had a great First Valentine's Day!

Martin and I left her in good hands and headed over to the Mexican restaurant about a block away. We enjoyed our first meal alone since December. For a whole 45 minutes, it was just the two of us.

Of course, we talked about the kids for most of that time. But it's okay, because that is our life, and we wouldn't trade it for the world!

Side note: Garrett got in trouble tonight at church. I let him suggest what his punishment should be. He asked if he could change Lexi's next poppy diaper. Oh yeah, I'll let you know how that goes!

It was so nice seeing you today. Lexi is precious and is as adorable in person as she looks in her pictures. My mother just thinks she is the most precious little girl. I have to agree. So lovable and kissable!

Loved the cat door photos...priceless!
