The Abraham Family’s Journey to Russia to Bring Home Their Daughter

How I spent my morning

Instead of doing a much needed after holiday house cleaning, Lexi and I had fun with Easter toys.

In this video, she decided to sit in my lap to watch the bunny. She finally gets brave enough to go give him a kiss at the end. (Sorry I'm always giggling in our videos, but my kids crack me up. I guess I'm easily entertained too!) After a few times, she was dancing in circles with him and the bunny ears kept whacking her in the head. I was laughing too hard to get that on video!

This last video shows how quickly she can turn her tantrums on and off. A little background info: The teddy bear in the video is her "Mishka". The staff at the Marriott Grand in Moscow gave it to her and it has become her lovey. She sleeps with him and carries him everywhere. He always cheers her up when her brothers get to go somewhere without her. So in the video when I didn't pick her up, and she didn't want to dance, she falls to the floor for a little tantrum. Thankfully, Mishka was right there and her tears quickly turn off and she is giggling again. We're pretty lucky that this is about as bad as it gets in the tantrum department - at least until she turns 2!

She's just so sweet that I had to stop the video at that point to give her a big hug.

My Lydia discovered a bunny like that at a Hallmark store on our Anchorage trip. She too is so tickled at those animated stuffed animals. She is 7! I have a grandmother who also STILL gets such a kick out of those. I totally got it when you said you had to turn the camera off and squeeze her... I've had that feeling before. She is such a doll in her 'big girl' nightgown too!

She's such a cutie - love the cheecks!! Yes, it would be hard NOT to giggle with her.

Little T can turn the tantrums on and off - and she's MASTERED the art of "fakey" crying. I think that was the way got attention... good or bad!

She's a doll in those videos, but really I have to mention the big pink rabbit and the ears - they cracked me up!!!

She is so precious. I would rather listen to her than do anything around the house...it was time well spent!

What a little sweetie pie! Have I told you that my mother just thinks Lexi is the most precious little girl. She follows your blog through mine and just thinks she is a doll! I have to agree!!
