The Abraham Family’s Journey to Russia to Bring Home Their Daughter

My little fishies!

Lexi loves, loves, LOVES to swim. At least 100 times a day, we hear "Time to go swimmin? or "Wanna go swimmin wiff me?"

Here are a few videos of her swimming in the "little pool" as she calls it. She can also swim across the shallow end of the "big pool" if I am in the water with her. She jumps off the diving board (while telling me to "move back") and does cannon balls off the side. My favorite is her water ballet. We may have a future Olympic Synchronized Swimming competitor in our family. I can't get photos of that because I am always in the water with her, so you'll just have to trust me about how cute it is. The funny thing is that I don't know where she get her moves. She has never seen synchronized swimming or even gymnastics or ballet for that matter. But she can throw one leg in the air while floating on her back and then do a couple of twisting spins under water and come back up and do the splits over water. It's pretty amazing. Most of the time, she doesn't use a floatation devise, so I am her spotter. If I can get her to do it with her life jacket on, I'll try to video it. It's really cute -- especially when one of her brothers joins in!

These next videos crack me up because I just remembered that the boys were giving each other massages in the background. You can see Garrett working on Preston's feet and back. I should have put down the camera and got in line for that...

And one more...

And finally, to give equal billing to the boys, here is short clip from Nolan's birthday party. Nolan wanted to swim at night with the pool lights. As you can see, sometimes not all the boys take time to actually change into a swim suit. (They have been known to skinny-dip too, but that will NOT be filmed. Hehe! Thankfully, there are at least 10 acres between us and the neighbors.)

The videos were great! So cute!!

Hey - i just saw your comments on Jackie's post . . . I haven't heard much about rickets, but S also has an odd-shaped head and a high forehead. Are those caused by rickets? Strangely enough, Mattias was just officially diagnosed with flat feet . . . off to the orthopede soon for shoe inserts!
