The Abraham Family’s Journey to Russia to Bring Home Their Daughter

July 22, 2008

In one week...

Martin and I will board a plane bound for Russia!

I have finalized my lists. I have lined up family and friends to keep the boys entertained and far to busy to miss us while we're gone. We have tested our skype phones. The laptop is charged. I have extra batteries and memory cards for the cameras. Everything is ready to pack. Our Visas are supposed to arrive on Friday. I dream about our trip to Russia almost every night. I'm so excited and nervous all at once. It's very much like how I felt when meeting each of our boys for the first time!

Take something to back up your hard drive on the laptop and backup any pictures you have copied solely to the laptop onto usb drives. The US government has every right to search this laptop's hard drive coming back into the US and you want to make sure you have copies of your pictures in case something happens to them on the laptop.
