The Abraham Family’s Journey to Russia to Bring Home Their Daughter

Still Waiting...

In adoption news, well... there isn't any. We are still waiting for a court date.

So, since we are not ones to be idle for long and keeping busy helps keeps our minds off the fact that don't have travel dates for Trip Two yet; we are loading up the car and driving to Kansas City this weekend. We're going to a theme park on Saturday and we have club seats for the TN Titans vs. Kansas City game on Sunday. We got them CHEAP on EBay! The Chiefs are not doing so great this year.

But how 'bout them Titans? They are 5 and 0 so far!!! That's never happened before in Titans (or Oilers) history. Thus the road trip.

A cute thing the boys did today made me smile and realize that they are just as anxious to get to Russia as Martin and I are: When I said something about getting ready for our trip this weekend, Garrett said, "What trip? Russia?" I reminded him we were going to Kansas City tomorrow. Then he said, "Whoever would like to be going to Russia tomorrow, raise your hand!" All four boys raised their hand. Of course my hand was raised too. Hopefully, we'll hear something soon.

Ugh - the wait between trips is so difficult. Making a weekend trip sounds like a great plan to pass the time. Safe travels & just know that with each day that passes, you're one day closer to having her home!
