The Abraham Family’s Journey to Russia to Bring Home Their Daughter

Father's Day - What a difference a year makes!

Father's Day 2008

These three photos were taken of our daughter on Father's Day last year and emailed to us the next day. We already knew we wanted to go meet her and had our Visas in hand and were booking our plane tickets for Trip One.

But we had not seen any photos of her. (There is more to the story that I haven't talked about on this blog yet.) I vividly remember checking my email fifty times that morning anxiously awaiting more information from our agency.

Then, there they were -- like a little Father's day gift from Russia.

Father's Day 2009

The following photos were taken today. Wowzer, what a difference!

2008 -2009

Yes, it really is the same child.

Our little girl LOVES her daddy too!

Happy Father's Day, Martin, from the whole gang!

You have a beautiful family! Are all you children chosen/adopted from russia? What a blessing to have 4 princes and 1 princess.

Thanks Heidi, they are all such a blessing to us. Our four boys are biological children. Lexi is our only adopted child. The boys adore her as much (or more, if possible) as Martin and I do!
